Griffin is a short, stout little tank with a big personality and even bigger heart. At 3 years old, he's full of energy and loves to play-especially with his stuffed animals and bones. When he's not busy showing off his toys, he's adventuring around the house or yard, always curious to explore. He sleeps soundly through the night in his own space and is crate-trained; he even chooses to nap in his crate during the day. We are still working on his house training as he occasionally has accidents in the house. We think a house with an easily accessible yard and a little training, and he'll be house-trained in no time. Griffin listens well and knows his name. A firm "no" or "stop" gets his attention right away, whether he's jumping up for attention or giving his silly "toothy kisses" when riled up. He is suited to a home environment with female dogs who respect his boundaries during mealtimes, as he prefers to dine alone and may exhibit food-guarding tendencies if disturbed. After eating, he will push away his bowl and may attempt to access other dogs' food if available. Griffin does not typically get along with dominant male dogs, so placement with female dogs is preferable. Griffin has been friendly with strangers and does well on leash walks. While he's very sweet, he's also sturdy and strong, so he would do best in a home with older children who won't be accidentally toppled over by his bulldog enthusiasm. Overall, Griffin is an affectionate, playful, and easygoing companion who's ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home.
