My story

This handsome little buddy is Marcel! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 8/19, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Marcel as super sweet, though initially a little shy. He warms up quickly with pets and reassuring words. Marcel sits nicely when asked and he walks so nicely on leash! If Marcel sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him today! Marcel is approximately 4 years old and weighs 43 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Marcel is waiting patiently in run 858; his ID # is 12996. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
