My story

This blue-eyed boy is Petrie! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 8/19, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Petrie and describe him as calm in his kennel, but playful and joyful once outside! He knows how to sit nicely when asked. Huskies are super fun dogs, but they're also athletic and inquisitive. Petrie will need a family who will keep him physically and mentally stimulated. If you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome a young husky into your heart and home please come meet Petrie! Petrie is approximately 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Petrie is waiting patiently in run 874; his ID # is 12990. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
