My story

Acadia is a four-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing about 29 pounds. While she can be a little nervous when faced with new experiences, it doesn’t take long for her sweet, affectionate nature to shine through. This love-bug adores attention from people and is happiest when she’s by your side soaking it all in. True to her breed mix, Acadia is an energetic pup who will thrive in an active home where she can stay both physically and mentally engaged. She especially enjoys playing with her brother and is a pro at zooming around the yard at top speed. With patience, consistency, and plenty of love, Acadia will continue to build confidence and grow into a loyal companion for the right family. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
