My story

Winnie is a gorgeous black shepherd mix with charming brown “socks” and an even more charming personality. She was deeply loved in her previous home, but due to a change in her owner’s circumstances, this sweet girl is now looking for a fresh start—and a new family to adore. Winnie is the definition of loyal. She’s crate trained, house trained, and absolutely lives for quality time with her people. She was wonderful with the toddler in her previous home, and though she can get a little excited at times, it’s only because she’s so full of joy. Whether it’s a walk at the park or a cozy evening at home, Winnie just wants to be part of the fun. She gets along well with small dogs and prefers their company, especially after a rough experience with a larger dog in the past. She’s just a little more cautious now—but with the right introductions, she’s happy to make friends. As for cats? Winnie sees them more as a fun game of chase, so a feline-free home is the best fit for her. She’s got a strong voice and isn’t afraid to use it when new people come around, but she settles down with a little time and reassurance. Think of her as your personal alert system: she’s always looking out for you. Winnie’s heart is big and loyal, and she’s ready to share her live with a new person or family. Could that be you?
