My story

Calm, Gentle, Lap Cat, Does not scratch any furniture, has a scratch pad she enjoys.Originally rescued from a barn, she was adopted and was extremely happy in her home. She has now experienced the devastating loss of her owner.  .  Marigold is a Calico with dense fur.  Should not be in a doggie household. Prefers to be the one and only cat.  She is used to adults being home all day and grandchildren coming to visit.  She is the best cat her foster has ever had the opportunity to meet.  Indoor only. All Vet Care is up-to-date as of July 2025, and the paperwork will be included with her, as well as her blanket and some toys. She is used to gently sleeping at the foot of the Primary Bed.  Marigold had wonderful owners (a couple) who, due medical emergencies and death, had to find a home for her.   Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering!
