My story

Meet Stewart! Stewart is a sweet and curious pup who is easy to leash and enjoys exploring at his own pace. He’s quiet in his kennel and has a low energy level, making him a calm and gentle companion. A bit shy and nervous at first, Stewart values his independence but is curious about the world around him. He may also be kennel trained, which adds to his adaptable and easygoing nature. If you’re looking for a calm, gentle, and curious companion, Stewart could be the perfect fit for your home On 9/2/25 I visited Stewart in her kennel. She was standing at the front with head hung low, whale eyed. She seemed to perk up when she heard my treat bag rustle. I offered treats which she seemed to enjoy. I entered her kennel and she briefly backed away. I crouched down with a considerate approach and offered more treats and she readily came to enjoy. She flinched some when I initially touched her, but seemed to relax and enjoyed gentle petting. When I stopped petting, she nudged/licked my hand. Timid little lady On 9/2/25 Stewart attended playgroup. She seems housetrained as she immediately pottied outside. After that, she seemed to keep to herself, exploring the yard. Eventually she warmed up to being friendly and social and seemed to have a push/pull playstyle. She was tolerant of other dogs and often baited them into play with little play bows
