My story

Meet Magoo, the big ol’ boxer mix who’s part gentleman, part goofball, and 100% heartthrob. At 6 years old and just under 75 pounds, Magoo has perfected the art of being a chill babe. He walks beautifully on leash, carries himself with this calm, composed energy around the shelter, and then—bam!—the second you break out the toys, he lights up like a kid on Christmas morning. His absolute fave? A good game of tug. And if you’re lucky, he’ll even trot over and drop a toy right at your feet, as if to say, “C’mon pal, let’s make some magic happen.” Magoo isn’t just a toy enthusiast, though—he’s also smart as a whip. He knows his “sit,” is “shake,” and probably a few other tricks he’d be happy to show off in exchange for a treat or belly rub. And when playtime’s over? He’s just as down to snuggle up and share a cuddle or two. With his sweet face and silly streak, Magoo is the kind of dog that makes you laugh, makes you smile, and makes you wonder how you ever got along without him. In short: if you’ve been looking for a loyal buddy with a dash of cartoon charm, Magoo’s your guy.The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
