My story

Flexor A17745040 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old -This boy is oh so handsome and loving!-He can initially be timid and takes time to warm up-Once comfortable he loves to be close for pets and started pawing at me for more every time I stopped-His favorite thing to do is army crawl over to you and then flip over for a belly rub-He gives very small, gentle kisses once in a while-He likes treats, sits and takes them gently-He does prefer to lay down currently…I’m sure because of his foot. He is limping and has some old wounds that are healing-The more comfortable he got, the more playful he became. He started to engage in toy play.-Everything about his personality is soft and gentle-He walks slow and steady on the leash. Some of that may be due to his injury but he seems like a very gentle, chill boy overall.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
