Scaphoid A17743438 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -Walks decent on leash but is a little bit nervous and tends to walk behind you a little bit and will occasionally wrap around your feet. She’s just timid and a little unsure.-Once we got in the yard she slowly and cautiously explored and sniffed out everything-She came over several times to check in for pets-She very gently jumped up on my lap for attention-Loud noises make her nervous-She got very excited when it came time to play with the tennis ball. Lots of zoomies and chasing it around. She picked it up and briefly played with it. She’s semi interested in stuffies as well.-She’s a complete lapdog who loves pets and giving kisses-She takes treats here and there but doesn’t seem super food motivated. If you throw them on the ground she doesn’t eat them, but she will occasionally take them from your hand and nibble at them.-Just a timid baby who needs some time and patience-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
