My story

WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi hi! My name is Frankie! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am an adorable little girl. HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born in early 2025. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a French Bulldog mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I'm a compact 18-pound little peanut. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I have a beautiful chocolate-colored coat with fawn accents and the most adorable speckled legs and face. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I LOVE food. Love it! But my foster parents make sure I am healthy, so I only eat puppy food, and sometimes I get treats for training. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a fun-loving playful puppy! I play, nap, play, and nap again. And I am a cuddle bug who will never pass up a cozy lap to curl up in. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: Every day is perfect to me right now! Everything is fun and exciting, even though it is the same thing I did the day before. I play with my dog friends, I have lots of naps and cuddles with the humans, and I get to lounge around baking in the sunshine. If any of that sounds like it would work for you, then my days would be even more perfect with you in my forever home! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love all kinds of toys, but stuffies are my favorite. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I have magic powers! I can instantly make your world so much more full of love and fun with one look at my cute little face. Does that count? WHAT SCARES YOU? I’m not afraid of anything! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I’ve been around my foster mom's toddler grandson. I love him so much! Since I am young and excited for a little human playmate, foster mom makes sure to watch us together so we are both safe. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I've never met a cat, so I'm really not sure! HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love all the dogs I've ever met. My foster brother and sister, both frenchies, are some of my best friends! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? If I could be anywhere, it would be with my humans and, ideally, with one or more dog friends to play with. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m very healthy! I did have cherry eye in both eyes when I came to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue, but I had surgery to repair them and I am doing great now! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster parents, their two French bulldogs, and my sister, Fern, who was rescued with me. I love them all, but Fern is my closest companion. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I have a puppy pen that I hang out in with my sister! WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep like a little angel in my pen. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I am learning to love it! DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? I'm a jumper when I greet people. I just want to be where all the action is and I love people SO much! My foster parents are helping me work on keeping my paws on the ground. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? With consistency and patience, I am figuring out the whole potty situation. I am young and learning is a process, but I am doing really well for my age. I will continue to improve with time. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I should not be participating in any water sports, that’s for sure! I am a Frenchie, which means I am better on land than in the water. Please keep me safe! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? My foster mom and dad love to play with us as much as they love to snuggle! My favorite is a long nap in a human lap after a play session. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? I’m SO ready to enjoy the rest of my life with my forever family! I would love to come home with you.
