WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hello, new friend! My name is Fern! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am an adorable little girl! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born in early 2025. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a French Bulldog mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am 21 pounds (and still growing)! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? My coat is mostly fawn-colored, with darker coloring around my head and a mask on my face. Oh... and I have an underbite that my foster mom says is the most adorable thing ever! WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I eat a healthy puppy kibble for meals, and I get treats when I am training to learn good behaviors. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a love bug! I'm the perfect combination of playful and sweet, and I make the cutest little noises when you snuggle me. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day involves food, naps, and lots of playtime with my dog friends. I love to spend time outside sunbathing and exploring the yard. I'm still a puppy, so I have lots of energy, but I also really love afternoon naps in my pen. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love all kinds of toys, but balls are definitely at the top of my list. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I have mastered sitting on command and I'm working on staying when I'm told to. I'm a very smart girl and would love to learn more tricks from you! WHAT SCARES YOU? I’m not scared of anything! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I’ve been around my foster mom's grandson. He's an adorable toddler and I'm sweet as can be with him. But I am still a puppy and get really excited, so foster mom makes sure we both stay safe with our playtime. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I've never met a cat, so I'm really not sure. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love all the dogs I've ever met. My foster brother and sister, both Frenchies, are some of my best friends! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Playing with my sister Frankie and my other Frenchie friends, or snuggled up in a lap getting belly scratches. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m super healthy! I did have cherry eye in both eyes when I came to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue, but I had surgery to fix them, and I'm healing great. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster parents, their Frenchies, and my sister who was rescued with me. I love them all, but my sister Frankie is my closest companion. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I have a puppy pen that I hang out in like a very good girl. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep very nicely my pen! DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? It takes me a little while to get going, but I'm getting the hang of it! I think I will grow to love it with time. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Not that I can think of! My foster mom says that I am actually pretty calm for a puppy. I do like to "talk" when she doesn't make my breakfast quickly enough, but that's just my way of keeping her on her toes. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am a work in progress. Since I am a puppy, there is a learning process and I am doing really well. I need a regular routine for consistency and will need you to be patient as I learn where you want me to potty at your house. We can work on it together, okay? DO YOU LIKE WATER? I have never really played in water, so I'm not sure. But since I'm a Frenchie, I need to be kept safe from pools or other bodies of water. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? My foster mom and dad love to play with us as much as they love to snuggle! My foster mom knows that I love a good chin scratch, so she makes sure I get some extra scratches in every day. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? I’m so happy that NorCal Bully Breed Rescue has kept me safe and taken care of until my forever family comes for me.
