My story

Worm (A562116)Don’t let the name fool you, Worm isn’t creepy or crawly. He earned his name from staff who fell in love with his nonstop wiggles and happy, waggly tail. At around 7 years old, Worm is a mix of maturity and playfulness.When he arrived, Worm was underweight, his ribs and spine too easy to see. But even then, his spirit never dimmed. He’ll benefit from a steady plan to gain weight, and in the meantime, he’s more than happy to help with treat “taste testing.” He can be a little eager and mouthy when taking snacks, but one look at his ribs and spine and who could blame him?Worm walks well on leash with an occasional pull when a good sniff calls his name. He enjoys rolling in the grass and soaking up the sunshine, and shows his gentle, social side when meeting other dogs through a fence. He has even participated in playgroup, so be sure to ask about his notes. While toys don’t seem to catch his eye, affection and treats are at the very top of his list. He also knows “sit” and will wag his way right into your heart.Worm has wiggled his way through hard times and now he’s ready to wiggle his way into your home.
