My story

Meet Merlin, a 10-year-old Chihuahua with a 6-pound body and a 100-watt smile. Truly—he always looks like he’s grinning, and it’s the first thing people notice about him! Like many Chihuahuas, Merlin has a cautious side (yes, even the wind can be intimidating), but that just makes his bravery shine even brighter. He doesn’t let nerves hold him back from enjoying walks, sniffing new friends, and navigating the city like a pro. Loud noises? He’ll pause, give them a thoughtful look, and then keep right on trotting. He’s completely neutral toward other dogs but will happily chase pigeons twice his size, because why not? Merlin also has some royal standards: he will not sit or lay on the floor—only soft, cozy beds are worthy of him. He’s making steady progress with his house training, and he sleeps well in his crate at night (though sometimes he prefers to keep the door open for a bit of reassurance).
