Brief Bio:Peppers arrived with his brother Dusty(A715009). We dont know what they went through to get here, but we do know they were clearly traumatized by the trip. Peppers came to us with a bad wound over his left eye which has healed nicely, and a really bad case of diarrhea (which has also healed nicely). In getting them ready to be adopted, the thing that stands out to us is the extent to which these two brothers depend on and take care of each other. It would be our hope that A715007 & A715009 be adopted together.Summary of Personality:Peppers is one sweet, sleepy kitty. He REALLY enjoys the warmer mats we keep around the house. He likes to be petted and scratched, and will usually consent to being held for a while. He likes to sleep in the sun, preferably with company, but gets pretty frisky once the sun goes down. Peppers was VERY shy when he arrived, but never aggressive. It`s taken a bit to gain his trust but now I even get the kitty belly occasionally (and he has the cutest pure white groin, its ADORABLE). He is very copacetic with my other cats. He is DERPY. That picture does not lie, the little fool hangs his tongue out all the time.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Peppers has mingled freely with my other kittens, and cats, and there has been no problems. He IS hung up on his brother. They sleep together, eat together, play together, etc...We`re not exactly sure how well Peppers would do without Dusty. There are no children in our household, only cats.Include any observations:Even having arrived with diarrhea, Peppers has always been good about going in the box. Peppers and Dusty are also VERY fastiduous when it comes to being clean. They are a couple of the cleanest kittens I`ve had. I mean that seriously. I love all my kids but some of them just have to be shown how to clean their own buts. Seriously. Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
If you have any questions or would like to adopt PEPPERS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
