PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. SERAPHINA and her siblings were saved by the Rescue Mama. See she went to take some cats from a colony in Hemet, Ca to be fixed in Thousand Palms. She was in line and saw a lady walk up (see last picture) with 3 tiny kittens that she planned to TNR in her back yard. She was telling a lady that they were super friendly and could just live in her back yard. Rescue Mama almost had a heart attack. 3 littles outside in this heat in Coachella Valley?!?!?! Needless to say, they are all safe now with a foster. The foster named them after ANGELS. And now at our PETSMART! Meet SERAPHINA: The Mackerel Torbie with a Loving Heart SERAPHINA is a true beauty with a stunning and rare mackerel torbie coat. Her fur is a mesmerizing tapestry of tabby stripes interwoven with patches of fiery orange and cream, a unique and beautiful pattern that showcases her individuality. This distinctive look, coupled with the classic "M" marking on her forehead, makes her a feline work of art. SERAPHINA's journey began with a sweet family who lovingly cared for her outdoors. This early experience with human kindness has made her an incredibly trusting and affectionate cat, eager for a connection. While she may have once roamed the outdoors, she has made a smooth transition to indoor life, where she can enjoy all the comforts and safety of a home. Don't let her stunning looks fool you; SERAPHINA has a playful and adventurous side. She has a true hunter's spirit and is obsessed with stalking and pouncing on her toy mice. She will spend hours chasing them, showing off her impressive reflexes and tireless energy. When she's not on the hunt, her heart-melting affection takes center stage. She is a true lovebug who adores cuddles and will happily rub against you until she gets the head and face rubs she craves. Her purr is a powerful rumble, a clear sign of her contentment and happiness when she's being shown affection. SERAPHINA is also a cat of discerning tastes, especially when it comes to her treats. She has a famously big personality, often described as having "tortitude," and will do her very best to get the lion's share of any delicious snacks on offer. This charming diva will keep you endlessly entertained with her antics and her deep capacity for love. For a family that appreciates a cat with both playful spirit and a deep love for cuddles, SERAPHINA is a perfect fit! SERAPHINA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / MACKEREL TORBIE TABBY MIX. She is about 4 months old. She is good with cats. She has never been around children or dogs. ************As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months without a cat / kitten with enough energy to play with the kitten************ SERAPHINA is currently at PETSMART *** 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562 *** ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** AUGUST 2025: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. SERAPHINA is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
