My story

Introducing Rodney! Rodney is a 1.5 year old shepherd mix that came to us as a stray almost two weeks ago. We got a call from dispatch about a potential vicious dog. When we responded to the call at the address, we found this guy curled in a ball. When we approached him, he started thumping his tail on the ground, rolled over wanting belly rubs. We had no problems whatsoever getting him back to the shelter or since then. Rodney is the opposite of vicious, he’s a total goofball who just wants to be loved on and receive belly rubs. He’s a smart dude too as we’re working on some manners. He does know how to sit. He walks decently on leash, does okay in the truck, and is eager to learn/please. Overall he appears healthy, just a tad underweight. He also has very clean and pristine teeth! Before he goes to his forever home he will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and given flea/tick prevention. Just look at that goofy smile!
