My story

How this pet arrived: Socks was brought in by her previous owner on August 21, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you: STOP SCROLLING! Meet Socks, the cat your feed didn't know it was missing. She's equal parts chaos and cuddles, treating every room like a theme park and every shoelace like it's starring in an action movie. Socks brings major content energy: zoomies, sunbeam-chasing, and a dash of sass. She's affectionate when the vibes are right, but also runs a "paws-off when overstimulated" policy. Basically, she's a ready-made star for your selfies and TikToks. Socks was recently surrendered due to inappropriate urination. It has not happened while in our care, but our medical team has been monitoring her since arriving here. Because of this, adopters should be open to trialing different litterboxes, litters, and box placements (quiet, calm areas are key). Starting her in a single confinement room will set her up for success, especially if there are other cats in the home. Socks may need patience and flexibility to figure out what works best for her. To help keep her stress low, Socks will need a no-dog home. She's looking for a family who can laugh at her goofy antics, respect her boundaries, and be willing to troubleshoot her litterbox habits with care and creativity.
