My story

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Ruby! Ruby is approximately 3 years old, 43 lbs currently and she may have some Bassett Hound in her mix! She is a low-rider. She was found as a stray. In her foster home, she is working hard on house-training, crate training, and leash walking, but does not have a lot of experience. She could go to a home with kids 5+, and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `We have been calling her Ruby, but she does not always pay attention to her name. She comes to a whistle. She loves to sit next to you in a chair and has been sleeping in the bed with her foster parents. She is a bit of a pillow hog. She loves toys, but will completely remove all stuffing from them. She has also been given dog treats, which she loves. She was very timid when she first came to us, I don’t think she had been in a house and did pee inside but we have worked on that and she has not had any accidents in the past couple of weeks. We have horses and she just ignores them when we are out in the pasture where they are. Ruby is a very loving girl and loves to be with you. She will make a wonderful addition to your family.`She is available for adoption on September 12th in N Dartmouth MA.
