My story

Meet Wilbur! Named for the “some pig” in Charlotte’s Web (because he’s a good eater!), Wilbur was discovered in a community garden cat house. After seeing Wilbur for several days in a row and deducing he might be sleeping rough, a colony caregiver reached out to a 10 Lives member, who was able to coax Wilbur into a carrier with wet food. Wilbur, who is likely a dumped cat, slept in the sink for almost a full 24 hours the first day he was inside. Our friend was tired from a precarious life on the street! Wilbur is a little shy, but very sweet and enjoys having his cheeks and head scratched. He’s fundamentally a gentle boy, with big lush cheeks and a sweet meow. He’s estimated to be 4 or 5 years old.
