If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Phoenix is a 1 year old female Chihuahua mix who weighs in at 10 pounds.  This dog's adoption fee is $500.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Phoenix is very energetic and will attach to her person(s) and become their shadow. She will do very well with more training. She walks nicely on a leash. She interacts with other dogs. She will use a potty pad if you can't get her outside. Phoenix is not a fan of being in a crate, she prefers to be near her hooman. If you work remotely, Phoenix will quietly lay down next to you. When going outside, she will run, so be careful when opening doors and walking out. Make sure your yard is escape proof too. Please be patient with Phoenix, she is a good dog with potential to be a great dog. Therefore, training classes are strongly encouraged. Phoenix is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, semi-housebroken, and spayed.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation!
