My story

Toy loving, heart stealing new best friendFranklin (Frankie) is an adorable Chihuahua mix who is ready to find his forever family! He is estimated to be 10-12 months old, who was found as a stray in St Louis County,  even with his rough start in life he is full f  playful puppy energy and a funny personality. Frankie is eager to learn and is house-trained and making good progress on leash walks. He’s a little guy at just 13 pounds, but he enjoys the company of other dogs, both big and small. He gets along well with the dogs in his foster home, and he’s learning to be polite around cats.   His playful side shines through when he’s chasing squeaky toys or spinning around in circles at snack time. He loves being part of the action, but he is also crate trained and perfectly content hanging out by himself at times.  With his bright spirit and loving heart, he’ll fit right in with a family who’s ready to share their home (and maybe a few treats!). With his shy/cautious nature upon first introductions a house with older kids may be best for this sweet, toy loving guy.  All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs.
