My story

Meet Dumpling A562242 a 2yr old white and brown male terrier mix in need of a soft place to land. As an open-admission shelter, we see it all from sick, injured, matted, and sometimes neglected animals. Dumpling is one of those cases. He was picked up as a stray covered in dried blood and suffering from a suspected UTI. Thanks to quick veterinary care, he’s on antibiotics and appears to be starting to feel better.Over the past six days, our groomer and a volunteer have helped to clean him up, and now he’s looking fresh and his fur is bright white once again. Dumpling is a cuddly sweetheart who loves leaning in for affection, walks well on leash (though he prefers grassy paths over rocks), and enjoys a fun game of “Find It” to sniff out treats, a great way to stimulate his mind and senses.This darling boy is treat-motivated, eager to learn, and still has a touch of playful puppy mischief (he playfully and very briefly nibbled a volunteer`s hair when they were relaxing outside LOL).
