My story

I’m Lamb, an affectionate, handsome, classic beagle boyI came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray from Rock Hill, along with my sister. She has her forever home now and I want mine too! I’m a medium-size guy, about 20-25 pounds, and my estimated birth date is May 2023.I’ve had quite a journey to be ready for my new family to come find me. When a good Samaritan took us in, I was covered in ticks, which HSYC patiently freed me from. I’m also a heartworm warrior and have successfully finished my treatment, and my medical needs are complete.I sure have that beagle personality! I’ve been lounging in foster care and have discovered that I appreciate the comforts of a home and loving family. I enjoy snuggling with my humans and I get along well with other dogs in my foster home. I love climbing into my person’s lap and cuddling my face into theirs!I always have my nose to the ground on my walks. My instinct is to give chase to other creatures, so a fenced yard would be good in my forever home.
