Pumpkin

My story

Pumpkin is adorable! Pumpkin is a female spayed 8 month old,19lb terrier mix (probably part Pug/Boston Terrier) that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/30 as a stray. She had a possible owner, but they did not reclaim her. I can’t figure that one out. As you can see from her weight she is of small stature and low to the ground. She has a shiny coat. She also has a slight underbite which just adds to her cuteness. She’s slightly timid at first but warms up quickly. She definitely wants to make friends. She explored the yard indicating that she’s curious and alert. She did cry a little bit. I assumed she was looking for her owners. She’s apparently was very loyal to them. She did do her business in the yard. She was intimidated by barking dogs as she walked by. She walks well on a leash. She is happy, friendly, affectionate and very gentle. As small as she is, she could go with you almost anywhere and would love to do that. She would want to be an integral part of your family and for you to share your home with her.
