Brownie Randle A17762332 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She is very nervous to start but is very food motivated and that is the way to make friends-She needs time and patience from her new adopter. Once she’s comfortable with you, she loves to be close for pets-Then she’ll even give some kisses-Walks very nice on a leash with no pulling whatsoever-She’s not currently playing with toys-She knows “sit”-She seemed to be non reactive and more comfortable meeting calm dogs through the fences. She was however very nervous with louder, barking dogs. Please take this into consideration if you are thinking about adopting this pretty lady! Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Brownie Randall, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
