My story

Meet Matteo – professional belly band model and full-time happy boy! Matteo was recently returned to rescue after 2½ years in a home. We’re not going to sugarcoat it—Matteo marks. His adopters were made aware of this before adoption, but ultimately it became the reason he came back. Is it annoying? A little. Is it the end of the world? Nope. That’s why belly bands exist—and Matteo wears his like a champ. He’ll sit like a gentleman and wait for you to strap it on, like he’s getting dressed for a black-tie event. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here’s the part you’ll love: Matteo is pure sunshine. His tail never stops wagging, he’s a social butterfly with other dogs, and he’d be thrilled to have a furry sibling to wrestle and play with. He’s young, playful, and always ready for an adventure—shopping trips, patio brunches, you name it. If you can handle a little extra laundry and want a dog who will keep you laughing (and keep your heart full), Matteo is your guy.
