My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Rufus, a gentle 6-year-old Boxer mix with a sweet-as-pie soul and a heart full of love. Once he gets to know you, he will reward you with loyal companionship and wiggly affection. Rufus loves to go for walks and has wonderful leash manners! He enjoys taking things a little slower, stopping to smell the roses - and the rocks and the grass and anything else he sees! Rufus is one smart cookie and is more than happy to show you how he can "sit" and "shake" for a treat. Rufus doesn't seem to mind seeing other dogs on walks, but doesn't have a known history of living with other canines. He will however need to go to a home without cats or small pets. If you're ready to welcome a goofy, playful, loving friend into your home, look no further than sweet Rufus! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered.
