My story

Say hello to Shadow, a handsome young tabby kitten with bold stripes, but a soft heart. Shadow was born into a world of love and care, and now he’s ready to find his forever family! Shadow’s journey began when his mother, Louisiana, was surrendered to our shelter. Not long after her arrival, we discovered she was expecting. Shadow and his siblings—Sassy, Molly, Midnight, and Chance were born shortly after in one of our loving foster homes, where they were raised surrounded by kindness, comfort and early socialization. Thanks to his foster family, Shadow knows what it’s like to live in a real home and he’s already familiar with all the best parts of kittenhood—playtime, cuddle sessions, and of course, snack time! Shadow is everything you’d hope for in a kitten: curious, playful, sweet, and social. He loves to explore his surroundings, chase after toys and curl up for naps in cozy spots. As a kitten, he’ll need lots of enrichment, attention and a safe environment to keep growing and thriving. Family Ties: While Shadow does not need to be adopted with a sibling or his mother, we want potential adopters to know that some of his siblings and mom, Louisiana, are still looking for homes too. If you're open to welcoming more than one feline into your heart, Shadow might love to have a familiar face by his side, but he’ll do just fine as a solo kitten in a loving home, too. If you're ready to bring home a playful, affectionate kitten who's had the best start possible, Shadow may be the perfect fit. He’s already known the warmth of a real home. Now he’s looking for one to call his own forever. Shadow is located at one of our satellite adoption centers found within Petco in Strongsville (across from Best Buy). No appointments are needed in order to meet him. Simply show during the store's open hours. Store staff can complete all necessary adoption paperwork on behalf of the shelter.
