You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Monopoly is a 5 year old purebred beagle who came to us as a Minnesota breeder surrender. Whenever a breeder wants to get out of "the business", we're all for it! Monopoly is the name that came with her. She's a happy and healthy gal who is more than ready to begin a new life as a beloved companion. She will be vet checked and spayed on Sept. 18th and her fee is $150. Monopoly is a pretty social dog who is on the petite side. She only weighs around 15 pounds. She's pretty active and bouncy. She will need a little bit of basic training but should be happy to learn. A secure environment is important as beagles can be controlled by their noses. She has demonstrated a little of the ol' beagle hound sound, but it hasn't been excessive. We think she'd be okay with other dogs but have no way of knowing about cats. Older kids should be fine. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
