This playful, confident kitten is always the first to explore a new space and the first to let you know—loudly—when it’s time for attention, snacks, or play. She’s incredibly friendly and loves being around people. Whether she’s chasing her favorite wand toy or trotting around the house chatting away, Ambessa brings nonstop joy and energy wherever she goes. Her name means “lion” in Amharic, and while she may be tiny, she’s got the heart of a lion for sure! If you’re looking for a curious, talkative, and endlessly entertaining companion, Ambessa is your girl. HART requires that young kittens be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten or young cat at home. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions. Rather this ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.
