My story

Meet Amethyst!! She came in as a stray on 8/25/25, and we think she is about 4 years old. This big, beautiful girl is the definition of “mysterious.” She’s a little stoic, a little aloof, and—if we’re being honest—a little insecure too. Basically, she’s the type who acts like she doesn’t need you… until she totally does. When she gets wound up, she can play a bit on the rough side, so she’ll do best with an experienced owner who appreciates her bold personality and can help boost her confidence. She’s not for everyone (this breed really isn’t), so please do your homework first. But for the right person, Amethyst will be like that rare gem you never want to let go of.
