My story

Newton is just a baby—only 9 months old—but he’s already experienced more fear than any pup should. Found scared and with his littermate, Newton had to be safely trapped and brought into the shelter, where he’s slowly beginning to understand that not everyone wants to hurt him. That the world, while big and loud and sometimes frightening, might have loving hands, gentle voices, and warm laps too.At 38 pounds, she’s still growing, but what’s growing even more is his courage—one quiet step at a time.Newton may not run to you right away. He may need space, patience, and time. But for the person who sees past her fear and into his fragile hope, he will be a loyal companion whose trust is the most precious gift of all.The world has been scary. But with you, maybe it doesn’t have to be anymore.
