My story

Meet Mordy! Mordy is a fun-loving, energetic pup who’s looking for a family that can match his zest for life! He’s been a friendly face here at the shelter, always ready to greet staff with enthusiasm (and some pretty impressive zoomies). Mordy is full of personality and potential, and he’d thrive in a home where he can get regular exercise, structure, and training. Social Butterfly- Mordy enjoys meeting people and dogs, although he can come on a little strong at first. With some basic training and guidance, he’ll learn how to greet politely. Playtime Pro: He loves toys and is quick to engage in play. He also lets staff take toys from him with ease — a great sign of his cooperative spirit. He’s a bit of a puller on leash and gets excited coming out of his kennel — a strong handler and consistent leash training will go a long way in helping him settle into a routine. Dog-Friendly: Mordy met another dog here and responded well to her social cues. He’s eager to meet other dogs but may need help with learning how to approach calmly. Mordy will do best with an experienced adopter or someone ready to take on the challenge of helping him reach his full potential. A home with older kids or adults only would be ideal due to his high energy and mouthy behavior when overstimulated. Then, come in during our open hours!
