My Foster writes:Oreo is a very friendly and social cat, starting to explore my home and greet everyone from day 1. Oreo is a bit on the round side, which makes her adorably clumsy when she tries to jump. Most of the time, Oreo prefers to relax and nap in cozy spots where she could cuddle with human. She loves to make biscuits and will happily knead away on blankets or your pajamas. Gentle, low-energy, and full of love.A volunteer writes: Seen waiting outside a school for about a week, Oreo was aptly named by the students. Inspired by learning and basking in the glow of her new name, she also took this as her cue to join in. Oreo's a quick learner, so she politely raised her paw to ask if anyone had seen her forever family. The students looked to their teachers who weren't sure of the answer themselves, but knew exactly where to go for one. Now that she's here, Oreo curls up in her cubby and continues to wait, but oh, how she brightens with visitors. She noticed me admiring her little cat circle and came right out, sitting proudly and hopefully for cuddles. Twirling herself into my arms like a studied professional, Oreo explained she's really still learning herself and is specifically interested in forever families. If you have a moment, please come in and meet this spectacular cat student soon.Hello! I have ringworm, a treatable fungal infection of the skin that can be itchy but otherwise harmless in minor cases like mine. I require a course of Itraconazole, an antifungal medication that is taken by mouth every day for a few weeks. Ringworm can be transmissible to humans and other animals, so it's important to keep me separate from other pets in the home, wash hands after playing with me, and perhaps have a specific set of clothes to wear when interacting with me. Giving me lyme sulfur dip baths a couple of times per week can also help to minimize risk of spreading. It's also a good idea to make sure fabrics in the room I'm housed in are washed frequently - who knew adopting a kitty with ringworm would be a great way to help you stay on top of your household cleaning too?
