My story

Hey future family, I'm Dupree! I'm a ~1.5 year old neutered male wire terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give. I'm a big ol' softie at 52 lbs, and I'm all about making friends. People, dogs, and kids are my jam! As for cats, I'm not really sure about them, so a slow introduction would be best to ensure I don't scare the whiskers off them, or myself!  As a young pup, I've got plenty of energy and love to play and I'd really like to finally find a home I can call my own. I am medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Honestly, after reading my bio, I'm pretty sure I'm the perfect catch...I mean, who wouldn't want a charming, and loving pup like me?! paws at own back Bragging rights, activated!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
