My story

Meet Red Red is coming up on two years with us and we would love nothing more than to find him a place to call home. He came to us with severe malnourishment and heartworms. He has made fantastic progress and is now at a healthy weight and is officially heartworm negative, post treatment! Red is an active boy who loves long walks, romping around the yard, and snuggling up with his favorite people - which is everyone he meets. He enjoys going on adventures and taking time to smell the smells, exercising his nose and mind as well as his body. Red has done amazing when it comes to training. He now knows sit, heel up, lay down, stay (almost), and has much improved on his leash skills. Some of his favorite things are swimming on a hot summer day, begging for belly rubs, car rides and treats! While we know the majority of you already have other fur babies in the home, we’re hoping to find a special adopter for our boy Red who must be the only pet in the household. Red is truly a GREAT dog. He had stolen our hearts and we’re hoping he might steal yours, too. Red is 4-6 years old and weighs 50 lbs. He is crate and potty trained. ##2510525##
