Leo (Mushroom previously)

My story

Leo is a cuddly rag doll of a cat. He loves to lay in the sun and nap. His favorite spot is a summer morning on an outdoor enclosed catio. He loves kids and humans but can be very shy at first. It took him about 2 months to fully embrace his home and the people in it. He is very protective of his humans and terrified of dogs. He is very bonded to Oscar. They sleep together snuggled up.   He is currently settling into the EAPL Cat Adoption Center, at Chow Down in Evergreen.  Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com to be approved, then you are welcome to choose the cat who bests suits you and your home.  (Initial write up from 2023 when he arrived at EAPL:  Meet Mushroom, a sweet little guy about 5 years old.  Previous owner describes him as mellow and chill, extremely affectionate, likes to be pet, to sit next to her on the couch, not fond of being picked up and held.  He gets shy with other cats but not aggressive and lives with a big dog and a little dog with no problems.   Owner decided to relinquish due to a urinary tract infection she could not afford to treat and she was pregnant with her first child and doesn’t feel capable of taking care of Mushroom and a baby.)
