Meet Lucky ? Meet Lucky ? Everyone, remember this scared-to-death 6-month-old puppy who came to us beyond shut down—afraid of life itself? ? Lucky’s story quickly captured the heart of one very special family. They inquired about fostering him, came to meet him, and instantly fell in love. ? Fast forward to today: Lucky is settling into a home, slowly learning how to be a dog. While he’s not fully out of his shell just yet, he’s beginning to discover that the world isn’t as scary as he once thought. In the shelter, Lucky’s fear was so overwhelming that it led to fear-reactive behaviors—something no dog can truly succeed in. But thanks to his foster family, he’s finally getting the chance he deserves. ?? ? This is why foster homes are everything. They give dogs like Lucky the chance to heal, to grow, and to show who they really are outside of the stressful shelter walls. We are beyond grateful to his foster family for opening their hearts and home. Without them, Lucky’s spirit would have continued to fade. Instead, he is blossoming—one paw step at a time. ? Lucky is available for adoption, but we are in no rush. Right now, the focus is on giving him the time, patience, and love he needs to fully decompress.
