My story

Location: Hamilton, OH Food: Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Say hello to Smoke, a 4-year-old exotic bully with a big heart, a goofy grin, and a love for life! Smoke is a happy-go-lucky guy who absolutely adores people and soaks up attention like a sponge. He’s the kind of dog who makes you smile every time you look at him — and he’ll be right by your side for whatever you’re doing (as long as it’s not jogging!). Smoke is currently thriving in his foster home, where he’s working on building confidence around other dogs. While he needs to be the only dog in the home for now, we know he has the potential to coexist with the right dog in the future — he actually came into rescue with a dog he loved, so there’s definitely hope with slow, structured introductions. Because of his breed, Smoke is sensitive to heat and can’t spend long periods outside when it’s hot. But he does love short bursts of play, especially if water is involved — sprinklers, kiddie pools, you name it! He’s not up for long walks, but he’s 100% down for belly rubs, backyard zoomies, and being your favorite couch potato. Smoke is looking for a family that will love him as much as he’ll love them.
