My story

Talk about striking blue eyes! Wowzers! Meet SpongeBob, a stunning 8-month old, 25-pound (as of 9/16) Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is full of energy, love, and curiosity. This fluffer enjoys playing with small balls, stuffed toys, and anything else he deems interesting. A bit on the shy side, SpongeBob can be wary of strangers and other dogs, but once he knows everything’s cool, he is able to relax. Typical of his breed, SpongeBob has a herding instinct and an independent nature, but as he’s settling into a routine in his foster home, he’s becoming more sociable every day. Extremely affectionate with his humans, SpongeBob is a HUGE cuddler and likes being close to his peeps. You can pet this guy anywhere, any time, and he’s always appreciative of the attention. Easy to handle and a pleasure to walk, SpongeBob loves getting exercise, going for long strolls, and visiting local parks. He can be startled by loud noises, but the more he adapts to city life, the less distracting it will be. SpongeBob a quick learner, he welcomes treats, he responds to his name, and he knows several commands including come, no, sit, lie down, and leave it. SpongeBob has been working hard on his housebreaking skills, he’s learning to feel more comfortable in his crate, and he’s figuring out how to use his pee pads. He gets an A for effort and has shown remarkable progress in a short period of time. Brimming with potential, SpongeBob is just starting to show the world how amazing he’s gonna be. Plus, how can anyone ever resist that beautiful face? BEYOND GORGEOUS!
