My story

Vitro A17764065 lb. neutered male, approx 2 years old -Handsome, big brindle boy!-He loved being in the yard sniffing and exploring-Once he had that out of the way he came running towards me and jumped on my lap. He has no idea how big he is. Lol-He showed very brief moments of wanting to play with toys-He likes treats, sits and takes them nicely-He saw a couple birds in the yard close by and had no reaction whatsoever-Enjoys pets and gets very wiggly for them-Needs a little training still-He walks decent for the most part but can pull sometimes….And he’s big and strong.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
