My story

Haber A17771633 lb. neutered male, approx 6 months old -This adorable baby starts off a little nervous-Out in the yard he immediately came over to me for pets-He has good manners and is not jumpy-He’s a very chill pup so far!-He is figuring out toys and really likes them. He gets a little bouncy and playful when you play bow at him.-He likes treats and eats them very daintily. Still working on “sit”.-Such a sweet boy!-Enjoys laying in your lap for pets-Gives kisses-Walks nicely but the hallways are a little scary-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
