My story

Meet  Canon —the kitten who dares you  not  to fall in love. Spoiler alert: you’ll lose that challenge in about three seconds. With his soft long-haired coat, adorable milk mustache (shaped like a permanent smile), and those expressive white eyebrows, he’s basically designed for maximum snuggle power. And if you try to resist? He’ll serenade you with sweet mews and show off his best tap-dance moves until you cave. You may even find yourself carrying Canon around the house like a baby as you perform your daily tasks because he’s just THAT snuggly.   Canon’s “thrifted tuxedo” look comes complete with white socks—one with a hole, because even the fanciest gentleman needs a little quirk. He’s the biggest of his siblings, which means he plays hard, pounces fast, and proudly drags around his favorite toy (a pompom on a wand) like it’s his prized trophy. Big boy, big athlete, big heart.   Though Canon started off shy, he’s proven to be one brave and adaptable kitty. Once he trusts you, he’s all about purrs, pets, and hanging out with humans of every age. He loves other cats, and while he hasn’t officially met a dog yet, he’s got the kind of confident, go-with-the-flow energy that makes us think he’d fit right in. Basically, Canon is equal parts snuggle bug and playtime pro—and he’s ready to be your new best friend. Canon was born around June 12, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Southington. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
