My story

Hello! I`m Ricky the Rotti!I was quite scared when I came to the shelter as a stray, and I asked humans to give me space by barking. It hasn`t taken me long to learn that humans are actually pretty great and I am a rather friendly guy. I`d still love to join a home that is aware of my sensitive nature and sets me up for success when meeting new people. I do tend to bark and get upset when I see other dogs, so a home that is comfortable working with me on this would be awesome. Aside from that, I`m a cuddly, affectionate dude who looks forward to being a big lap dog.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: I`m looking for an adult-only home given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: No, I don`t seem to enjoy the company of other dogs and would do best as the only pet.CATS: No thank you, I have shown a tendency to chase critters I see outside so wouldn`t be ideal for a home with cats.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with a yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes, but expect some accidents as I adjust to the new routine.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
