My story

Hi! I'm Fishy! I'm an approximately 9 week old, male, Domestic Short Hair tabby kitten. I was brought to the shelter by my finder on 09/02/2025 with hopes of finding my furr ever home. I am a friendly guy who enjoys playing and socializing. Upon intake, it was discovered I have an injury to my mouth. I was seen by the vet and it appears I might have been clipped by a car. RAC has been working to bring me back to good health and I am ready to find my furr ever home! I am currently being treated for ringworm and will be on medication for the next 5 weeks. Ringworm is a topical, fungal infection that is contagious to all walks of life. Should I be adopted during my treatment, I will be sent home with the remainder of my medication. I am scheduled to return to the shelter on Wednesday, October 1st for my neuter. This is a non-negotiable so plan accordingly! My adoption fee is $75 and that includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st FVRCP, and 1st dewormer. Since I am so young, meet and greets will be by approved application only. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
