Meet Freya #30503 – A Brave Soul Ready for Her New Beginning! 🐾💛 Freya came to us as an owner surrender, through no fault of her own. Her previous family could no longer care for her, but since arriving at the shelter, this beautiful girl has made tremendous progress. 🌟 At first, Freya was a very scared and unsure pup, hesitant to trust and slow to open up. But with time, patience, and lots of love from our staff, she began to come out of her shell. Now, she greets her favorite people with the sweetest looks and happily rolls over for belly rubs – her way of saying she’s learning to love and trust again. 💕 Freya is an energetic girl who would thrive in a home that understands her breed and can meet her need for both mental and physical stimulation. An active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and adventure would be ideal. Because she can display some anxious behavior outside of her kennel, a home with older kids and a calmer environment will help her continue to build confidence. Freya is very food motivated and has shown minor signs of food guarding. At this time, Freya hasn’t shown much interest in other dogs – she’s still adjusting – so a dog meet-and-greet is required if you have another pup at home. 🐶 One thing’s for sure: Freya is very food motivated which makes training and bonding extra rewarding!
