My story

Dora is a quiet, laid-back English Bulldog mix who’s been through a lot and had a rough start in life before coming to the shelter—but despite it all, she remains incredibly sweet and gentle. She enjoys the simple things—soft beds, gentle head pets, and a peaceful space to relax.Dora can be independent much of the time and may need confidence building to help her come out of her shell more. She accepts love calmly, allows all handling with no issues, and walks okay on leash, though she likes to take her time and stop often. Not interested in toys, she prefers quiet company and enjoys canned food.Polite with other dogs, Dora would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and supported to grow into her full, confident self.
