Sylvie

My story

Sylvie is about 4 years old, weighs 26 pounds and is a happy gal! She is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, is so sweet and gentle. She was rescued in a puddle of mud near the border of Mexico. We think she had recently had babies, but they were not found. We are so happy she is safe with us. We can see Sylvie doing well in a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime with her family. She would love to just snuggle up on a couch in the AC and hang with her people. She would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Sylvie is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Geneva, IL on October, 18th with approved application and confirmed adoption. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. Sylvie tested positive for heartworms and was treated. Sylvie tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas.
