My story

Meet Melanie, a 3 m.o. female kitten! She came to us as a stray.Melanie is the silliest, sweetest little whirlwind you’ll ever lay eyes on! This gorgeous girl came to us with some scarring in her eyes, but don’t let that fool you! Nothing slows Melanie down. She`s got energy to spare and love to give, and she’s more than ready to find her forever home. Melanie is a true goofball who will keep you laughing with her playful antics and curious nature. She’s always up for a game, a cuddle, or a full blown kitten Olympics session across your living room. And when she`s finally tired out? Expect snuggles, purrs, and a whole lot of heart melting cuteness.She’s friendly with everyone she meets and would thrive in a home that can keep up with her playful spirit and give her all the love she deserves.Melanie came to FVHA with evidence of previous corneal ulcers. The right eye has some residual scars present giving the eye a cloudy appearance. This may fade over time or possibly remain. The left eye likely had a rupture to the cornea that patched itself with conjunctiva. This is a permanent abnormality, but no further treatment is needed at this time. Because she is a stray, we`re unsure of her experience with cats, dogs, or kids. Our team can guide you on slow introductions.
